I am going to play favorites and share with you two of the dresses that I have just fallen in love with. Style 12169 and style 12199 are just so darling.

A little tid bit of bridal trivia for you - white dresses were originally only used for weddings because the bride was unable to afford a dyed fabric. Only wealthy brides could wear a coloured gown.
I love the ribbon accent and stars on the dress. Both are optional but could be a fun touch to add for the reception if you didn't want to wear them down the aisle. You may even be able to turn the stars into earrings and a matching necklace. I will have to explore that option with local jewelers.
Style 12199 is also a fantastic option! She is made of Duchesse Silk as well (shown in ivory) and has an aquamarine garland. The garland can also come in a crytal color so that it is a little more subdued. The back sash is shown in black elastic but it can also come in oyster, ivory, or white grosgrain ribbon.
I just adore the bodice of this dress. The neck line is beautiful! Sweetheart necklines are a nice option for something a little different than just straight across. The draping of the skirt is lovely as well. I believe that this will create a nice slim shilloutte.
I just can't wait to see these girls in person! I know that these two will be on the top of many magazines best dress lists for Fall 2009! I hope that they inspire you as you search for your wedding gown.
Happy wedding planning!
